Adding to the ever-growing list of evidence that Joe Biden may not be entirely in control of his mental faculties, the president during his remarks on Tuesday referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “First Lady” – a title that, of course, actually belongs to Biden’s own wife.
“There’s been a little change in the arrangement of who’s on the stage because of the First Lady’s husband contacting COVID,” Biden mumbled, seemingly to forget that the First Lady is his wife, meaning the "First Lady's husband" would be...well, him.
Off-camera, Biden’s wife Jill can be heard correcting him, finally getting his attention.
“That’s right,” Biden responded, as the audience laughed.
“She’s fine - it's me,” he added, referring to Jill.
“The Second Lady – the First Gentleman,” Biden finally corrected.
Oof.
