'Frankly, That Was A Very Dumb Statement': Trump Excoriates Biden For False Vaccine Comment

Joe Biden’s presidency so far resembles a bloopers and blunders reel. He’s exhibited racist behavior in public, failed to denounce the Uyghur genocide in China and struggled to get the schools reopened. And after criticizing former President Donald Trump on his methods for dealing with the pandemic, Biden announced that the COVID-19 vaccine didn’t exist before he became president - even though he was vaccinated before he was sworn in.

“It’s one thing to have the vaccine, which we didn’t have when we came into office,” Biden said in a CNN Town Hall event, “but a vaccinator - how do you get the vaccine into someone’s arm?”

Trump told Newsmax TV in an interview on Wednesday that Biden “was either not telling the truth or he was mentally gone, one or the other.”

By all accounts, Biden appears to have provided ample evidence of both.

During Trump’s presidency, one million doses of the vaccine had been administered to Americans by Christmas Eve 2020

Due to the outrageous falsehood of Biden’s statement, Trump also speculated if the president was actually serious.

“Could he be joking?" Trump rhetorically asked before continuing. "Because, frankly, that was a very dumb statement.”

It didn’t sound like a joke. Listen and decide for yourself:
