Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, (D-HI), took to twitter on Tuesday to release a video in which she denounced democrats such as Rep. Adam Schiff, (D-CA), and former CIA director John Brennan and their current calls for the surveillance and monitoring of Americans.

In the video, Gabbard, a former democratic candidate for president, refers to Schiff, Brennan, and the oligarchs in Big Tech as “domestic enemies” who pose more danger to America than the rioters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.

"The mob who stormed the Capitol on January 6 to try to stop Congress from carrying out its constitutional responsibilities were behaving like domestic enemies of our country, but let’s be clear, the John Brennans, Adam Schiffs and the oligarchs in Big Tech who are trying to undermine our constitutionally protected rights and turn our country into a police state with KGB-style surveillance are also domestic enemies — and much more powerful, and therefore dangerous, than the mob that stormed the Capitol."

In her video, Gabbard then showed a clip of Brennan telling MSNBC that members of the Biden Administration: "are now moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements we see overseas.” He then goes on to describe the makeup of potential “insurgency movements” as; “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

Since the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, lawmakers have been considering a domestic terrorism bill. Many Americans oppose such a bill as they believe the federal government has more than enough resources and ability to thwart criminal behavior without additional powers.

Gabbard concluded her video by calling on President Biden and all lawmakers in Washington:

"President Biden, I call upon you & all of Congress from both parties to denounce efforts by Brennan & others to take away our civil liberties endowed to us by our Creator & guaranteed in our Constitution. If you don't stand up to them now, then our country will be in great peril,"
