It’s bad enough that too much public speech online gets labeled “misinformation.” But now the Biden administration is pushing one step further to monitor our private conservations!
POLITICO revealed that “Biden allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee, are also planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text messages.”
In short, the government supposedly can't spy on your texts without a warrant, so they’ll get private companies to do so, and they claim it's over vaccine misinformation.
Senator Josh Hawley responded by raking the Biden administration over the coals for seeming to imitate Chinese Communist Party tactics. “It sounds like something out of Beijing. I mean, we know that the Communist Chinese Party has built this surveillance state, and now it sounds like Joe Biden wants to bring that to the United States of America.”
Our country was founded on the idea of checks and balances, but blurring lines between Big Tech and Big Government has become a sinister hallmark of the Biden era.
