Fearmongering pays. And apparently, it pays a lot.

It turns out that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the NAIAD director best known for spearheading the White House’s coronavirus task force for now more than a year, during which time he intentionally sent the public conflicting messages first about face masks, then about vaccine goals, is the highest paid person in the entire federal government.

According to Forbes, Fauci raked in a whopping $417,608 in 2019, making him the highest taxpayer-paid federal employee out of some 4 million people. He made about $182k more than Vice President Mike Pence, nearly twice as much as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, about $150k more than Supreme Court Justice John Roberts, tens of thousands more than our highest ranking military leaders, and even about $17,000 more than the president himself.

That’s right – Fauci, who’s admitted to lying to the public on at least two occasions to coerce them into adopting preventive measures against COVID, makes more than the President of the United States.

Doing the math, Forbes estimated that Fauci will make about $2.5 million off taxpayers between 2019 and 2024, assuming his salary remains the same (unlikely, since he was making $335,000 in 2014). Since 2019 is the latest year for which federal salary data is available, it’s not yet known how much the infectious disease expert made during 2020 while going on a national circuit advocating for widespread shutdowns that bankrupted countless mom-and-pop stores and family-owned bars, restaurants, gyms and entertainment venues.
