According to ABC News, two sheriff deputies in Pasco County, Fla. were shot at while sitting in their police cars early Sunday morning.

Fortunately, neither man was hurt.

A similar attack occurred in Los Angeles Sunday night, reports CNN.

“In Los Angeles, two officers were driving in their patrol car Sunday night when at least one gunman opened fire, police said. The officers returned fire and were not injured.”

Just over a week ago, two NYPD officers were killed assassination-style as they sat in their squad car by a man who vowed retaliation for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

The shootings in Pasco County and Los Angeles remain under investigation.
