Flashback-Sen. Reid: Obamacare Stays 'As Long As I'm Senate Majority Leader'

Barbara Boland | November 5, 2014

Remember when Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) gloat-tweeted this:

Obamacare is the law of the land and it will remain so as long as Barack Obama is President and as long as I am the Senate Majority Leader.

— Senator Harry Reid (@SenatorReid) September 23, 2013

Well, you aren’t Senate Majority Leader anymore, Sen. Reid.

And remember when Reid changed the Senate rules to help Obama?

About that:

Thanks to Harry Reid's rule change, it will only take 51 votes to repeal; Obamacare #tcot

Ooops.

But not to worry, Sen. Reid is here to tell us what the message was from last night:

I congratulate Sen McConnell, who will become Majority Leader. Voters made clear they want us to work together. I stand ready to do that.

— Senator Harry Reid (@SenatorReid) November 5, 2014

Sen. Reid, we’re going to “work together” to repeal Obamacare, right?
