FLASHBACK: Rep. Cummings Said Baltimore Was 'Drug-Infested Area' in 1999

The Trump team had to go into the wayback machine to find the video clip they were looking for — twenty years to be exact. But eventually, a 1999 video of Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) has surfaced in which the longtime congressman can be seen calling Baltimore a “drug-infested area.”

As many of you already know, President Donald Trump recently drew the ire of the left and the media — of which no one can tell the difference anymore — for calling Cummings’ district “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.” Of course the media and the left called this racist, because Trump dared criticize a member of Congress who isn’t white.

As we all know, if you criticize someone who isn’t the same color as you, you’re a racist. That’s some weird Orwellian math, but it’s how the left plays their game at this point.

So, with the media crying tears over Trump’s use of the word infested, it should be interesting to see whether CNN anchor Victor Blackwell will cry over Cummings’ use of the same word.

Take a look:

Well, this is awkward.
