FLASHBACK: Pocahontas Descendant Isn't Offended By Trump's Nickname For Warren

I honestly don’t understand why this is a major news story. North Korea just launched a missile into the Sea of Japan, but let’s worry about President Trump calling Sen. Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas.”

I guess to the mentally deranged it constitutes some sort of racism? I’m still scratching my head on this one.

Looking back to a September interview by Sky News with a descendant of the actual Pocahontas, Debbie “White Dove” Porreco said that Trump asked her if it was okay for him to use the “Pocahontas” name when referring to Warren.

“I know that he uses ‘Pocahontas’ sometimes with Elizabeth Warren,” Porreco told Sky News. “He said, ‘well does that offend you when I use that?’ And I told him no, it doesn’t offend me.”

Should be the end of the story, right?

Well, the Left-leaning Sky News added an extra element to their video interview examining the use of “Pocahontas” by Trump, so they trudged out the woman who voiced the role of Pocahontas in the Disney movie of the same name.

The Disney voiceover actress for the role of Pocahontas, Irene Bedard, of course referred to Trump as a misogynist and a bully.

Here's the Sky News video in question:

Whoever takes the word of a voiceover actor over a direct descendant of Pocahontas herself needs to get their head examined — quickly. That would be like taking my advice about pizza over the owner of Pizza Hut’s simply because I’ve eaten pizza before.

Stop it. Just stop it. Find something better to do with your time than get offended every time someone sneezes.
