Feminists Attack Taylor Swift's Feminism For Not Being Feminist Enough

Ah hypocrisy, sweet nectar of the liberal Left.

Country singer-turned-pop icon Taylor Swift, a.k.a. Lena Dunham's BFF, just caught a face-full of insults from some self-described “nasty women” after she tweeted her support for the Women’s March last Saturday. Because modern-day feminism is all about supporting women – except apparently, those deemed not "feminist" enough.

Here’s Swift’s tweet, in which she clearly tries to align herself with the hundreds of thousands of “feminists” who paraded around with graphic, profane signs last Saturday:

So much love, pride, and respect for those who marched. I'm proud to be a woman today, and every day. #WomensMarch

— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) January 21, 2017

Personally, I'm still scratching my brain trying to figure out what all the screeching banshees were so upset about last Saturday (seriously, WHO is trying to take your “rights” away?). I’m also pretty confused at how marching down the street wearing a vagina costume and proclaiming your “p***y power” deserves “respect” from anyone.

Then again, I suppose my pro-life mother just raised me differently.

But perhaps most confusing of all is watching feminists turn on another feminist for being a feminist, because only certain kinds of feminism are truly feminist and must be expressed in certain feminist ways, according to feminists…or something.

Here are a few responses by those critical of Swift’s nod to feminism:

@taylorswift13 then why didn't you say anything during the presidential campaign when we could've made it so that this didn't have to happen

@taylorswift13 1 tweet and she back to being a feminist. Yet where have you been pic.twitter.com/1CSqSxQVjy

@taylorswift13 you got a bad leg or something? Why didn't you March?

@taylorswift13 thanks for finally voicing an opinion this election! Perfect timing!

.@taylorswift13 maybe stop using feminism when it's convenient for u and ignoring it when it's not?? just a thought

Some tweets just got downright nasty:

One "feminist" even had the audacity to tweet out:

Yep. Next time, Swift should "do better" by dressing up as a vulva and scream "F*** Trump!" while advocating for late-term abortions and protesting a free and democratic election.

After all, the little girls are watching.
