A Chief Fauxcahontas tribal member Elizabeth Warren supporter was arrested and charged with assault after attacking Warren’s opponent who’s also vying for the senator’s Massachusetts seat.
According to the Berkshire Eagle, 74-year-old Paul Solovay was caught on video during a campaign event Sunday slamming a bullhorn into Shiva Ayyadurai's mouth – so hard, in fact, that the independent candidate ended up going to the hospital for cuts and swelling.
Ayyadurai, who's reportedly a supporter of President Trump, and his group were at Warren’s town hall event to accuse the senator and her followers of racism over her unproven claims of Native American heritage.
In the video, Solovay can be seen crossing the street to confront Ayyadurai, pointing fingers in the candidate's face before shoving Ayyadurai's megaphone into his face.
For his part, Solovay pleaded “not guilty” Monday to assault and battery and was released.
