Just a few days after admitting he’s been lying to the American public about vaccination goals in order to manipulate the public into getting the shot, NAIAD Director Dr. Anthony “No-Masks-Nevermind-Yes-Masks” Fauci said Sunday that a national lockdown might be necessary in order to contain the coronavirus, which months of lockdowns and mask mandates have so far failed to contain.

After NBC’s Chuck Todd baselessly hypothesized about a scenario in which a new COVID strain might be even more contagious than the current one, the "Meet the Press" host asked Fauci if “we’re looking at another campaign under President Joe Biden” for a “15 to 30 days to slow the spread.”

“I hope we don’t have to do the shutdown…we know how much COVID-19 fatigue there was [with] people just really being worn down with this,” Fauci answered, skipping over all the people who've experienced far more than simple "fatigue" from the shutdowns that have cost countless people their businesses, jobs and mental health.

"But we certainly need to enhance and make more uniform our public health measure,” he continued.

Fauci then alluded to President-elect Joe Biden’s call for everyone to wear a mask for the first 100 days of his presidency, calling it “a really good start.”

“The idea about locking down is something that you might have to do but you want to avoid... we hope we don't have to do [a national lockdown],” Fauci continued. “In certain areas of the country like California…you may have to have, and they have already decided, on some form of lockdown.”

Of course, those repeated lockdowns, mask mandates, business closures and curfews have done little in places like California and New York City to stop the spread of COVID-19, which continues to spike in record numbers in many Democrat-controlled cities that have enacted some of the most restrictive and economy-killing measures in the nation.
