NASCAR might be the most tone-deaf league out there when it comes to interacting with fans.
Most racing followers are conservative, America-loving individuals who don’t give two rips about being politically correct. As such, it’s confusing why NASCAR would post a “Happy Holidays” graphic on its Twitter account to avoid “offending” its fans (sidebar, if you’re offended by people saying “Merry Christmas” to you, grow up, that’s on you).
To all those celebrating this month, we wish you a safe and joyous holiday season! pic.twitter.com/iE5PFAhXIy

Predictably, fans quickly waved the red flag on this post and sternly rebuked them for using a seasonal greeting that they clearly weren’t interested in.
Screw that! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I think what you meant to say was "Merry CHRISTmas"!!!

NASCAR should know by now that its fans have no interest in even the smallest signs of wokeness or political correctness, so it's odd that they would post something like this. Of all the sports leagues out there, NASCAR should have known this would backfire on them quickly and stuck with a standard “Merry Christmas” post instead.
