The editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro, sat down MRCTV Tuesday night to address topical issues facing conservatives.

Shapiro said conservatives need to be more aggressive in the fight against liberalism and leftist tyranny:

I’m always in favor of conservatives being extraordinarily aggressive as you may have noticed from my style. There’s a difference between aggressive and uncivil. There’s a difference between aggressive and vulgar.

There’s a difference between being politically incorrect and being a bore, but I’m very much in favor of standing loud and proud for conservatism and not backing down in the face of emotional appeals like ‘you hurt my feelings,’ because frankly I don’t care.

Shapiro finished the interview with advice for those in the conservative movement who don't want to stand up to liberal tyranny. Invoking the advice of his late mentor, Andrew Breitbart, Shapiro said there are only two choices - fight or flee:

It’s time to walk toward the fire. This is a piece of advice I got from Andrew Breitbart, and I always thought that it was good. ‘You’re part of the fight whether you like it or not.' The left is not going to leave you alone. The left is not going to let you live your life. They’re going to come after you with the government. They’re going to come after your children to try and indoctrinate them.

So, you can either embrace the fight, you can have fun with the fight, you can face the fact that God put you on this Earth to be part of a mission in favor of freedom and liberty - or you can run. Those are really your only two choices, but there is no third choice where you’re left alone.
