An Applebee’s customer called police to complain that staff wouldn’t let her share her “all you can eat” meal with a table full of people – and as the recent viral police bodycam video shows, things quickly got out of hand.
On August 2, 28-year-old Shawneesha Cobbs was arrested in Portage, Indiana, following an argument with restaurant staff over whether she was allowed to share her all-you-can-eat meal with her dining group, NBC News reported.
The bodycam video shows a person telling police they believed the “all you can eat” deal was good for the entire table if ordered by one person. When they were informed the charge was per person and they would have to pay $15.99 each for their meals - an argument ensued.
After multiple warnings from police — and attempts by a friend to quiet her down — Cobbs was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Crime is rampant and these people are calling the cops because they don’t know how to read an Applebees menu pic.twitter.com/xdvaI9feoD

The question is: Were they trying to pull a con job? Or did they legitimately believe they could feed the whole table by placing one “all you can eat” order?
Either way, the incident seems to check off a full menu on how not to handle your family and friends calling the police - on themselves.
