Democrat NYC Mayor Eric Adams recently told CNBC that giving illegal aliens pre-paid credit cards funded with taxpayer cash is a “real win-win.”

“This is a real win-win for us and the money will go into the local economy, ‘cause now we going to the local stores, supermarkets, where we’re going to hire local. This is a smart way to bring down the costs and replace the money back into our city,” Adams said Friday.

More cost effective than deportation? Which Americans are already paying taxes for? Adams’ math seems dubious.

Adams claims the $53 million program will “save” the city about $600K a month or $7.2 million a year.

The program starts with 500 migrant families with children already living in short-term hotels.

If the pilot program is deemed a success, officials say they would consider expanding the program to all illegal families staying in hotels.

There’s no word if they will measure how many illegals will be inspired to come to NYC to hopefully take part in the free credit card program, or how many would have to arrive for it to be considered a success.
