From Saturday night through Sunday night, NewsBusters couldn't find any mention on ABC, CBS, NBC, or PBS of Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin’ staffer recording himself having gay sex in a Senate hearing room.
It wasn't mentioned on any of the Sunday morning interview shows, including CNN's State of the Union. A search of NPR.org found nothing.
The Washington Post, the paper with the "Democracy Dies in Darkness" motto, couldn't apparently shed any light on this either.
The New York Times? Nothing.
Yeah, the New York Times which once published an article titled “Nothing Proves You Right Like Getting It on ‘Tape’” while mentioning the non-existent Donald Trump ‘pee-tape’, just couldn’t be bothered to cover a Democrat scandal.

The Washington Post once ran so wildly with this imaginary tape that it decided after the election that it had to correct and retract articles.
CNN had no problem discussing the alleged ‘pee tape’ even adding “There is no indication that such a tape exists and Trump has vehemently denied it,” towards the bottom of their online stories.
The media was very happy to discuss an imaginary ‘pee-tape’ involving a Republican, but a lot of silence on a real tape involving Democrats having gay sex on the table in a Senate hearing room.
Don’t you wonder why?
