The Blaze is reporting that stats from the United States Customs and Border Protection show that the Biden administration is already on pace to break the record for border encounters at the southwest land border for the third straight year.

These figures are disappointingly showcased in Arizona, where the Tucson sector agents have apprehended almost 313,000 illegal immigrants in just the first five months of fiscal year 2024.
The graph below from the CBP showing southwest border encounters indicates there have been nearly 1 million illegal aliens encountered already for fiscal year 2024.
Each month in FY 2024 has already spiked higher than the months in the previous year with eight more months to go. In 2023, a record 2,475,669 encounters were reported for FY 2023.
