Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) announced Tuesday that she has asked the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to create a “Media Literacy Tool Kit for K-12 Schools.”
“By teaching younger New Yorkers about how to discern between digital fact and digital fiction, we can better inoculate them from hatred and the spread of it,” Hochul said in her announcement.
"This will teach students and even teachers to help understand how to spot conspiracy theories, misinformation, disinformation, and online hate," Hochul said.

It will be interesting to see how New York develops this tool kit. For some reason, I doubt there will be a chapter on how the media pushed the false Trump/Russia collusion narrative .
