Migrants have attempted to board multiple school buses in California, according to district officials.
The Jamul-Dulzura Union School District has emailed families about the recurring situation.
According to school district officials, on Wednesday a group of about 20 people tried to gather with students at an elementary school bus stop. Parents present at the stop helped the bus driver to make sure the migrants didn't board the bus.
In another incident, a group of three men were walking in the middle of the highway tried to stop a school bus, which went around them without stopping.

School officials have decided that if there are migrants near a school bus stop, the bus should just drive by and leave the children further away from their homes.
“Please stay [vigilant] and if the bus drives by, please follow the bus to pick up your child at the next stop,” families were told in the emailed notice.
