Early on Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr’s X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked and sent out a series of fake and offensive tweets.
“I’m sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024,” the first false post claimed.
The post was quickly followed by a string of hacked messages. These included posts calling Joe Biden vulgarities and claiming that his father “owns” Elon Musk.

“North Korea is about to get smoked,” read another of the bizarre posts.
Andrew Surabain, a spokesman for Trump Jr., posted on social media that “Don’s account has been hacked.” Shortly after the posts were quickly deleted.
The Hill reports that a spokesperson for X did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
