It’s a bit of a surprise. Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) has resisted the Biden impeachment inquiry, and twice voted against impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Buck has now put forward a resolution to have Joe jolted from office for lack of mental fitness by using the 25th Amendment.

In a release Buck states:

“The Hur report officially addressed what many Americans have long witnessed with their own eyes - that President Biden is no longer fit to successfully discharge the critical duties of his office. Numerous instances were articulated in the report, and have played out in full public view, showing President Biden’s apparent cognitive decline and lack of mental stamina.

“The societal challenges and security threats our country faces are innumerable and require a chief executive with both strong mental and physical faculties. The time has come for the vice president and the Cabinet to put our country first and move forward on invoking the 25th Amendment.”

In his report, Special Counsel Robert Hur described how Biden struggled to remember dates and important events, and described the Big Guy as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Buck's resolution was introduced Monday. It calls on VP Kamala Harris to convene a Cabinet meeting to invoke the 25th Amendment. Such a move would require Harris and the majority of the Cabinet to declare Biden “incapable of executing the duties of his office.”

So far, there has been no reaction from the Biden camp to the resolution. Although it’s quite possible Joe has forgot about it already and moved on to having new conversations with dead people.
