Rep. Matt Gaetz says Hunter Biden’s testimony indicates “a bribe masquerading as an international business transaction.”

Gaetz spoke with reporters after Hunter Biden had given closed-door testimony to Congress on his business dealings.

“I believe you can actually bribe someone by paying their family members, so I don’t get this construct that unless Joe Biden himself received cash, that he somehow was not involved in the bribery operation. Joe Biden was doing the bidding of Burisma, we was doing the bidding of Chinese communists,” Gaetz said.

Gaetz seemed to find some of Hunter’s testimony to be almost laughable. Especially when the Biden family member told members of Congress that he joined the Burisma board to combat Russian aggression.

“I haven’t heard that one before, thank goodness we have Hunter Biden on the Burisma board, because that was central to his strategy to stand up to Vladimir Putin,” Gaetz said sarcastically.

From 2013 through 2018 Hunter Biden and his company brought in about $11 million for his roles as a board member with Ukrainian firm Burisma and his work with a Chinese businessman now accused of fraud, according to evidence from his laptop from hell and documents released by two Senate committees.
