Eric Bolling Is Allegedly Suing a HuffPo Writer For Defamation

Who’s telling the truth, and who’s full of hot garbage? Judging by the latest move from suspended Fox News host Eric Bolling, we’re going to find out.

Huffington Post reporter Yashar Ali took to Twitter Wednesday to inform his “followers” that Bolling is filing a $50 million defamation lawsuit against him after Ali published a story claiming that Bolling sent lewd pictures to “several female co-workers.” Fox News later said the longtime host had been suspended pending an investigation into the matter.

Here are Ali’s tweets about the lawsuit:

It’s possible that Bolling allegedly only named Ali in the lawsuit because Bolling isn’t trying to shut down HuffPo, but is merely going after Ali, since it was Ali's article that supposedly defamed him. However, that’s merely conjecture at this stage.

The alleged lawsuit came within a day of Bolling telling his followers on Twitter, “I look forward to clearing my name asap.”

Bolling supposedly has acted “as soon as possible” with the prospect of this defamation suit.

Ali, not to be outdone, solidified his position on the alleged lawsuit by sending out this tweet about his work:

It appears that Ali, should the claims from his sources come out to be true, is attempting to keep some semblance of journalistic integrity by saying that he’ll continue to report on anyone — well, anyone that HuffPo doesn’t like.
