Since former pro basketball player Enes Kanter Freedom was ostracized from the NBA for speaking out against China, he has made a name for himself in conservative circles by speaking out against many human rights and cultural issues.
He did not break form over the weekend when he dunked on the transgender movement, which is affecting women in far too many aspects of life. Because America is so quick to allow transgendered females (men) to do whatever they want in the name of “inclusion,” Freedom floated the idea of changing his appearance so he could play in the WNBA.
Since culture at large has given up telling men they can’t be women and because the WNBA is so progressive, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to see this scenario play out. This reality is what frustrates Freedom so much, and what prompted him to call for others to speak out in favor of protecting women’s sports.
Men don’t belong in women’s spaces.

Since I’m blackballed from the @NBA, should I put on a wig, identify as a woman and start dominating the @WNBA?
Is that when the outrage will begin?
Is that fair to all the women who spent their whole life…
Of course, Freedom isn’t actually planning on going through with this ludicrous idea, but rather is highlighting how far society has fallen on this issue. After all, we’ve seen this happen in women’s swimming, track and field, tennis, and other sports as well, all with the same inevitable and predictable result: men beat women because of distinct biological differences that give them a hefty advantage. And if Freedom were allowed to play in the WNBA, he would surely dominate the league.

The real solution to this problem is to stop allowing men to believe and act upon the notion they can become women. But until that day comes, more people like Freedom at the very least must continue to advocate for women’s sports at all levels to be protected from these deranged men.
