If you were wondering how things were going in Egypt after the recent revolution, well, this can't be a good sign. Apparently the supposedly temporary military government in effect right now has arrested a blogger for repeating accusations leveled by many human rights organizations at the Egyptian military. This is not what freedom looks like.

If Egypt is to ever truly react a free and democratic society the military will have to hand over power to a properly elected civilian government that respects the God given inalienable rights of its people. Until that time comes it appears Egyptians will be subject to grave violations. If Egyptians ever want to be a free people then it would seem they have a lot more work to do.

Given the reports of the Muslim Brotherhood's influence within the country I'd say that's a big if.
