Florida is one of the most politically conservative states in the country, and that’s a fact progressive citizens of the Sunshine State despise. As a result, they’ve approached someone they think would be a good fit to help make the state a little more blue.
That person? The one and only Dwayne Wade.
It’s true, the former Miami Heat point guard confirmed that the state’s progressive lawmakers have asked him personally to run for office in 2024 along with another former NBA star, Grant Hill. News of this hypothetical scenario originally broke in May, but Wade did not comment on the story at the time.
Now, Wade has officially made it clear that while state progressives have contacted him about running for office, he confirms that there have only been discussions up to this point with no major decision.

“I mean, it’s just conversation,” Wade said. “‘Hey, you would be good for,’ ‘Hey, we can see you in,’ ‘We would love to have you in.’”
“It’s things that I’m passionate about that I will speak out on and speak up for,” he continued. “And so I don’t play the politician games. I don’t know a lot about it.”
What exactly are those things he’s passionate about? For one, he’s an ardent supporter of the LGBT agenda, and he’s been an outspoken zealot for this agenda ever since his son decided he wanted to be a female. In fact, he so strongly believes in his son’s decision that he moved his family from Florida to California because he believed that his son wouldn't be accepted for making this ludicrous choice.
So really, his only claim to fame is being a celebrity narcissist who fiercely supports the LGBT agenda. Sounds like a perfect choice for the liberals!
But seriously, if this is one of your first options for a candidate for office, then it might be time to go back to the drawing board.
