Duh! Sec. Blinken Dismayed Over the Taliban Not Having Any Women in Their New Gov't

Were the people in charge of our federal government born yesterday? You’d think for the portion of them who have been bureaucrats for decades, they’d have a better understanding of the world. Alas, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I can’t even believe I’m writing this, but Secretary of State Antony Blinken conveyed his dismay over the newly-formed Taliban government in Afghanistan not being “inclusive” enough.

“Yesterday, the Taliban named a new interim government,” Blinken said on Wednesday during a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas. “We are assessing the announcement, but despite professing that a new government would be inclusive, the announced list of names consists exclusively of individuals who are members of the Taliban or their close associates, and no women.”

Here's Blinken's comments:

Yeah, that’s what these maroons are worried about. Not that the Taliban have billions of dollars worth of U.S. military gear, not that a terrorist organization took over Afghanistan while the U.S. was still there, not that Americans and Afghan allies were stranded in a very dangerous place, but that there aren’t any women in the Taliban’s cabinet.

Are you freakin’ kidding me?! Really? You didn’t think the Taliban would exclude women from leadership positions? If you believed they wouldn’t, then I have some beach front property in the Rocky Mountains to sell you.

As conservative talk show host Steven Crowder asked during his livestream on Thursday, “Are we beyond parody?”

And while some people might dismiss that question as hyperbole, it’s actually a very good question.

When we have military leaders talking about wanting to “understand white rage,” and the Army coming out with “woke” advertisements talking about becoming a strong woman being raised by lesbian mothers, other countries have got to be laughing at us.

It’s a joke, and it’s no wonder why so many people don’t take the current administration seriously.

To answer Crowder’s question, yes, we are beyond parody.
