“Thanks Deplorables!”

That’s the message Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out Thursday morning following the news that his new book, “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us,” has hit number one on the New York Times best-seller list for nonfiction books in its debut week.

Trump Jr.’s book beat out other big name newcomers to the list as well, including previous NYT best-selling author Mitch Albom, Fox News’ Brain Kilmeade and the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.

President Donald Trump tweeted out his congratulations for the success of his son’s book.

According to the book’s listing on Amazon, here’s the synopsis:

In Triggered, Donald Trump, Jr. will expose all the tricks that the left uses to smear conservatives and push them out of the public square, from online "shadow banning" to fake accusations of "hate speech." No topic is spared from political correctness. This is the book that the leftist elites don't want you to read!

Trump, Jr. will write about the importance of fighting back and standing up for what you believe in. From his childhood summers in Communist Czechoslovakia that began his political thought process, to working on construction sites with his father, to the major achievements of President Trump's administration, Donald Trump, Jr. spares no details and delivers a book that focuses on success and perseverance, and proves offense is the best defense.

On Tuesday, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell had a chance to sit down with Trump Jr. to discuss the book, along with a myriad of other topics.
