President-elect Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News discussed how he really feels about Twitter.

He said that he actually doesn’t like tweeting, but uses the popular social media channel to fight back against the “very dishonest media.”

“I don’t like tweeting,” said Trump. “I have other things I could be doing, but I get very dishonest media – very dishonest press.”

He said that Twitter allows him to “call [people] out” when they make false statements about him.

“When people misrepresent me … I have at least a way of saying it’s a false statement,” said the President-elect.

"If the press were honest – which it's not – I would absolutely not use Twitter,” Trump added. “I wouldn't have to."

The interview is scheduled to air Wednesday morning on "Fox & Friends." Check out a preview below.

Trump has received a great deal of criticism for using Twitter to slam his critics and adversaries.

According to MRCTV, Trump will continue to use his personal Twitter handle @RealDonaldTrump throughout his presidency, in addition to the official @POTUS Twitter account used by President Obama over his two terms.
