Disgraced Former Rep. Katie Hill Now Blaming Her Sex Scandal On Sexism and 'Biphobia'

Former California Democratic Rep. Katie Hill is now blaming the national fallout from her sex scandal and subsequent resignation from Congress, after she was found to be having a bizarre three-way relationship – or relationships? – with several of her staffers against congressional House rules, on the fact that she’s both a woman and bisexual.

“The bisexuality was a huge part of it,” Hill told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America. “There’s a fantasy element of it. There’s a biphobia that is rampant still, and certainly a misunderstanding of what bisexuality is. And it’s sensationalizing.”

Hill, a brief darling of both the Democratic party and the liberal media, officially resigned from her elected position in the U.S. House of Representatives last October after the House Ethics Committee launched an inquiry into several photos and text messages that were publicized showing Hill in an illicit sexual relationship with several of her staffers, including one female campaign worker who had been engaged in a “throuple” relationship with Hill and her husband, Kenny Heslep. Several of the photos showed the congresswoman topless and engaged in sexual situations, while another showing her holding a bong.
