One would think that a “devout Catholic” president like Joe Biden would be ecstatic that unborn babies with detectable heartbeats in Texas will be saved from the abortionist’s suction nozzle. But no. Our “devout Catholic” president has claimed to be laser focused on reversing the Texas “heartbeat bill” that SCOTUS allowed to pass into law this week.
Shortly after Senate Bill 8, or Texas’ Heartbeat Bill went into effect on September 1 -- after the Supreme Court refused to rule against it -- the very devout Christ-follower, Joe Biden spoke out against it. In a statement he gave on the day of the non-ruling, Biden claimed, “This extreme Texas law blatantly violates the constitutional right established under Roe v. Wade.”

SB 8 stipulates that “a physician may not knowingly perform or induce an abortion … if the physician detects a fetal heartbeat.” Clearly there’s a human life there, which Texas law seeks to protect. But of course, the current far left president prioritizes a women’s right to choose over the life of an innocent baby. For the man whose job it is to protect all Americans and whose faith claims that abortion is a grave evil, it’s disgusting to see him so opposed to the protection of unborn lives.
In the statement, Biden also expressed the typical doom and gloom talking points that Democrats dredge up after pro-life victories. He added, “This Texas law will significantly impair women’s access to the healthcare they need, particularly for communities of color and for individuals with low incomes.”
Mmm hmm. Yeah thanks, Joe. What about your faith that the media says you take great pride in? It doesn’t apply, does it? Also thanks for playing the race card. Are we supposed to let our country’s insecurities over race trump the more important priority of protecting the unborn?

Typical democrat pro-choice BS from someone who is praised for having a rosary on him at all times. We were told he was a man of faith. Even though his religion condemns abortion, he’s not even remotely skeptical of his party’s stance on the issue.
In addition to that rebuke about Texas’ great legislative victory, POTUS also said that he would do everything he could to try and reverse the Texas decision. Lefty journo Kyle Griffin tweeted out a blurb from the president on September 2 about the bill. According the president told journos, “I am directing that Council and the Office of the WH Counsel to launch a whole-of-government effort to respond to this decision, looking … to see what steps the Federal Gov't can take to ensure that women in Texas have access to safe and legal abortions.”
We’ll have to see what Sleepy Joe thinks he can do to force the Texas state government to obey D.C. democrats. This should be good.
What’s more is that when a male reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on September 2 how a Catholic president like Biden could have a pro-abortion stance, she responded with a typical leftist cop out: “I know you’ve never faced those choices, nor have you ever been pregnant.” So basically she refused to answer the question and told the reporter to shut up because he’s a man.
