House Democrats have reportedly added Latinos, Pacific Islanders, Asian Americans, and the LGBT to their House resolution condemning racist language after a measure decrying anti-Semitism failed to be enough for certain liberal lawmakers.

Earlier this week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders failed to pass a resolution condemning anti-Semitic rhetoric after several members of their own caucus – namely Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar – were criticized for making a slew of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish comments. The measure launched an internal war after critics of the resolution, including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, complained the bill unfairly singled out anti-Jewish rhetoric while failing to condemn racially-based hatred toward other groups.

In a desperate effort to finally get the resolution through and not come across as open purveyors of Jew-hatred, Democrats early Thursday added language condemning racial targeting African Americans, Native Americans, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, immigrants, before ultimately adding Latinos, gays, and literally every other minority group they could possibly think of.

Unfortunately, Democrats failed to include several other groups to their resolution, ultimately leaving it incomplete and clearly unable to pass:

  • Eskimos and indigenous Alaskan peoples
  • Otherkin
  • Two-spirits
  • Objectophiliacs
  • Buddhists
  • Pygmies
  • Roma
  • Non-binary, transracial pansexuals who identify as Maple trees every other Tuesday

I’d include straight, white Christian males, but everyone knows it’s totally fine to hate on them.
