There’s a difference between trying to be edgy and intellectual - and being downright ignorant, insensitive and stupid.

A supposed design company called KA Design had been using swastikas to sell t-shirts to promote, and I can’t make this up, “love and peace” all the while using the rainbow flag along with swastikas.

Here is the video that KA Design used to promote their fascist apparel:

The Jerusalem Post reported that KA Design had a description for their new swastika line of apparel.

“Here at KA we explore boundaries. We push them forward.” the description supposedly said. “Let’s make the swastika a symbol of Love and Peace. Together, we can succeed.”

The design company’s argument was that before the Nazis began using the symbol it was a Hindu and Buddhist symbol of good fortune and other positive connotations. While that is true, the stigma that Hitler and the Nazis placed on the swastika will forever be linked together.

KA Design was selling the shirts through a popular t-shirt website called teespring.com. The KA shirts don’t appear to be available for purchase any longer, but another group, who identify as the Anti-Swastika store, look to have taken the KA shirt design and put a red circle with a slash over the swastika.

Here's a picture of what KA Design product page currently looks like:

You could dress up the swastika any way you like it, but the bounds of good taste and history prevent this symbol from being anything other than a symbol of hate.
