Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been convicted on all charges by a jury in the Hennepin County court.
Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in George Floyd's death in May 2020. The verdict was announced late Tuesday afternoon.
Minneapolis, New York, DC, Portland and other major cities are prepared for possible rioting, even after the guilty verdict.
BLM-Antifa in Portland promises violence “no matter what the verdict is” in the Chauvin trial. This should make it clear that these months of riots have never been about justice but rather is an excuse to be violent & destructive without consequence. #PortlandRiots pic.twitter.com/mlrpRGQCj3
