This being his third State of the Union address, it should really come as a surprise to no one when Democrats stay seated after being confronted with the successes the U.S. saw in the previous year under President Donald Trump.
So it should really come as no surprise when the Democrat women in Congress, all dressed in white to show how virtuous they are, stayed seated when Trump announced the unemployment numbers for women.
"The unemployment rate for women reached the lowest level in almost 70 years," Trump said, "and last year women filled 72 percent of all new jobs added."
A few minutes earlier, Trump noted that 7,000,000 new jobs were created last year. Taking into account the 72 percent number, that comes out to 5,040,000 new jobs last year alone for women.
