Pro-life Democrats were not included as a caucus in the Democratic National Convention 2020 schedule, and the party platform includes extreme pro-abortion provisions but that hasn’t stopped some members of the pro-life caucus in the party from speaking out.

Louisiana state senator Katrina Jackson, a speaker at last years March for Life rally in Washington D.C., tells MRCTV she hasn’t been given a reason that the pro-life caucus was not recognized at the convention this year.

“I am not sure why we're not represented this year. We've always, always been represented in the past. It's very disappointing and I really don't have a reason for it,” Jackson said.

While Jackson sides with many leftist policies of the Democratic Party, her strong pro-life stance is one area where she feels she can educate others.

“I've known for years that the abortion industry was originally pushed by those who believed in eugenics, the practice of basically decreasing the population and restricting the procreation of those who they believe were undesirable citizens,” Jackson says.

“One class of those citizens were African-American. And so for me, I've never, as an African-American woman, took the criticism seriously because I don't think people who stand up for Planned Parenthood and who are pro-choice and who stand up for abortion understand that abortion in this country was mostly founded and based on eradicating our population and making us a minority of the minority, which because of this pro-choice advocacy that doesn't understand the history they are inching to being successful at - that is more African-Americans dying every year from abortion than any other illness or disease combined.”
