President Donald Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” overcame its final hurdle on Thursday, when the House narrowly passed the reconciliation (budget) bill and sent it to the White House, where the president will sign it into law.
The bill passed by a tight 218-214 margin, with two House Republicans – Rep Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) – joining all Democrats in voting against it.
Pres. Trump is expected to sign the bill into law on Friday, the Fourth of July.
