Los Angeles is suffering from a “perfect storm” of mismanagement that’s exacerbating the damage done by the fires raging through the region, Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro explained Thursday.
In a video clip from “The Shapiro Show” posted to social media, the conservative commentator recaps the most scandalous news stories to-date regarding the fires and explains how the extensive devastation caused by the fires is “the effect of every bad Democratic policy happening ALL AT ONCE.”
Shapiro describes how the excessively destructive impact of the fires is the result of a perfect storm of mismanagement, comprised of:
- Environmental radicalism,
- Budgetary incompetence,
- Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (DEI) ideology,
- Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom,
- Democrat L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, and
- One-party state governance.
Combined, these influences “have brought this catastrophe on the population of my old hometown,” Shapiro writes, introducing the video.
