On Thursday, Pres. Donald Trump signed an executive order directing the taxpayer-funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) to cease federal funding of two leftist propaganda machines: the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and National Public Radio (NPR).
“Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence,” the president explains in his “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Biased Media” executive order.
