Neera Tanden’s nomination to head the Office of Management and Budget has been dropped, and as usual, leftists on Twitter made a scene.
Tanden is Joe Biden's first nominee to fail in securing a confirmation. Biden said that Ms. Tanden had requested that her nomination for director of the Office of Management and Budget be withdrawn.
One of the main reasons for Tanden’s downfall was her history of tweeting inflammatory posts on Twitter. However, her supporters think that misogyny, sexism, and GOP hypocrisy are to blame for her unsuccessful run, as the tweets below proclaim. Funny how leftists value accountability, but choose to ignore Tanden’s volatile online behavior.
Neera Tanden just fell victim to the trifecta of hypocrisy, sexism and racism.

Please RETWEET to show her your support.@neeratanden
No accountability for Trump trying to overthrow the US government but Republicans and Joe Manchin really stood up for civility against Neera Tanden’s tweets. What a disgraceful and nationally embarrassing farce.

So it seems that today’s lesson is - men can mean-tweet but women can’t. 🤨

GOP spent four years genuflecting to a 74 year-old man who spent his presidency rage tweeting from the toilet while high out of his mind on prescription drugs but Neera Tanden somehow crossed a line?

How is it OK that Marjorie Greene wanted to see Speaker Pelosi killed, Ted Cruz incited violence, and they get to keep their seats, but Neera Tanden's tweets hurt feelings so no confirmation?

The hypocrisy is infuriating.
If you post years of vile false divisive tweets you can be POTUS. But if you’re somewhat mean you can’t be OMB director. Ok.

Neera Tanden is being forced to pay the price for all the women of color who stood up, spoke truth to power & beat Trump. I have no doubt she’ll land on her feet & do great things. But it’s wrong & we should speak up & stand with her.

When you are a man who is legitimately hostile and abusive in the workplace, you are called "demanding" and respected for being authoritative.

When you are a woman who speaks truth to power to help the voiceless, you are called "Neera Tanden" and punished for refusing to cower.
Neera Tanden stood up spoke truth to power, told the truth about traitors like Ted Cruz and now is punished. Her crime? Tanden didn't 'know her place'! Male, white, powerful, rich: like Trump you can say anything. Female of color: shut up! That's the disgusting message today.

Due to misogyny, Neera Tanden won’t be Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Let's not kid ourselves, if a white man had sent all those tweets he'd already be the OMB director.

The hatred of Hillary Clinton and Black/Brown voters bring out a powerful duo groups between Socialist and Republicans...... so socialist and Republicans ganging up on Neera Tanden shouldn't surprise anyone at this stage of the game.
