“The guy asked him three times to be a Muslim, and he refused,” Joe said.
In the Blaze TV "Wide Awake Special," Joe, a Coptic Christian from Egypt, shared how his entire family witnessed Muslims behead his cousin because he refused to deny Jesus.
Joe, who now lives in the U.S., implored America to protect those being persecuted for their faith in the Middle East—to defend those who may suffer the same cruel fate as his cousin for standing up for what they believe in.
“These are your brothers and sisters,” he said.
“We’re asking you, as the big Christian country, to be with us. Please.”
"Before, we was O.K. when the United States was behind us," Joe added. "Right now, I'm sorry... I love this country. I want this country to get back behind us, because we need this country to be behind us."
"It's enough," he said.
