It's that time of year where all of the newest and coolest electronics come to life... figuratively speaking.

The Consumer Electronic Showcase which is be going on from January 6th-9th, will take place in Las Vegas and can almost be considered "Stark Expo" of our day. Take away the explosion and the self-destructing drones and Iron Man himself and this is what you get.

What you will see is A LOT of 4K and A LOT of wearable tech. Smartphones in watches and smartphone with 4k. TVs with 4k screens that stream  4k content. Say bye bye 1080p (Full HD).

Thanks to companies like Qualcomm, this will be possible with its Snapdragon 810 Chip coupled with the Adreno 430 GPU. Look for that in all of the high-end smartphones this year.

Speaking of the Snapdragon 810 and 4K, a lot of rumors are pointing to Sony to make a splash with its new flagship phone.

The Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to have the 810 and a 5.5 inch 4K screen. This is most likely a mock-up of the device, however, if it looks like this, with these specs, you can guarantee that this will be my newst toy once it hits shelves.

Another thing to look out for is wearable tech. Thanks to the Moto 360 and, obviously, the Apple Watch, there should be a huge influx of weables this year. It was expected last year, but this year is a given. There is even a smartwatch that controls a car... Talk about the mind going ka-boom.

Lastly, the concept of self-driving cars. The concept has dated back to before any of you were probabaly born. It is now starting to become a reality, thanks to NVidia

Stay tuned here for a live stream by CNet and see whats coming.
