Congressman Posts: ‘Danger' 7 Trump Traps for 'Undocumented People'

Eric Scheiner | February 22, 2017

Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas) is giving a “danger” warning to the public about “#Trumps7Traps.”

The Texas Democrat’s office is using an image on social media with a “danger” warning listing seven reasons that illegal aliens would be subject to deportation in both English and Spanish.

The post says:

Undocumented people subject to deportation who:

1. Have been convicted of any criminal offense.

2. Have been charged with any criminal offense, where such charge has not been

     resolved.

3. Have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense;

4. Have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official

    matter or application before a governmental agency;

5. Have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits;

6. Are subject to a final order of removal, but who have not complied with their legal

    obligation to depart the United States; or

7. In the judgment of an immigration officer, otherwise pose a risk to public safety

     or national security.

I guess the public is to assume President Donald Trump is laying “traps” so “undocumented people” commit crimes?  Is there is a plot to lay “traps” making people pose a risk to public safety?

Hopefully no ‘documented people’ fall for these well-planned traps. Imagine if there were repercussions for having “engaged in fraud,” or being “convicted of any criminal offense.”

Oh wait, there are.
