When running for public office, revealing that you look at porn on the Internet is something that is generally not recommended by campaign consultants. Even if it’s done unintentionally, it’s a good way to ruin your political career forever.

Virginia congressional candidate Mike Webb didn’t have much of a political career to begin with, having already lost the Republican congressional primary in Virginia’s 8th District. But while attempting to qualify as an independent candidate for the seat, Webb’s official campaign Facebook page posted a screen shot of his desktop -- with two tabs of pornography open on his browser.

After the Internet caught wind of this error, Webb went into damage control mode, claiming that he was just trying to see if any sites had "a virus that would cause his or her FEC data file to crash … as well as impact other critical campaign systems.”

Seems legit.

Porn star Layla Rivera and another bearing the title "Ivone sexy amateur,” the names that were on the two open tabs that could be seen on Webb’s computer, could not be reached for comment.
