House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) has called for an investigation into Planned Parenthood, following the release of a shocking undercover video. The footage depicts senior staffer, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, admitting to the use of partial-birth abortions for the purpose of selling organs.
The organization responded by claiming mothers were simply “donating tissue” for the purpose of medical research:
"In health care, patients sometimes want to donate tissue to scientific research that can help lead to medical breakthroughs, such as treatment and cures for serious diseases."
However, upon watching the video, one does not get the impression that organs are being donated, but rather sold for profit.
Coverage of this shocking revelation have been almost completely ignored by mainstream networks such as ABC and CBS. As of July 15, a measly 39 seconds had been allotted to the issue.
Despite this, a Congressional panel composed of three Republican-led congressional committees will probe the Planned Parenthood video.

Planned Parenthood’s practices, as revealed by its senior official in this shocking video, are almost too sickening for words. It is appalling that this organization should be profiting from the trafficking of body parts of the unborn – lives that are the most vulnerable and sacred. Congress should fully investigate the extent of Planned Parenthood’s disturbing and potentially illegal practices, and strengthen laws to protect these sacred lives.
