For people that always claim to be the bastion of tolerance, modern feminists seem like they’re the most intolerant people on the planet. Combine being a modern feminist with being an indoctrinator — excuse me, college professor — and you have all the makings of radical Leftist.

Christian Feminist Theology professor — yes, that’s an actual thing — at Indiana University of Pennsylvania Dr. Alison Downie threw senior Lake Ingle out of her “Christianity 481: Self, Sin, and Salvation” class lecture after the student fired back at the professor telling her that there are only two genders and that the wage gap is a debunked myth.

According to Fox News:

After showing a 15-minute TED Talk by transgender ex-pastor Paula Stone Williams discussing the “reality” of “mansplaining,” “sexism from men,” and “male privilege,” the professor asked the women in the class to share their thoughts. When no women in the class said anything, Ingle spoke up, challenging the professor on biology and the gender wage gap.

He told the class that the official view of biologists is that there are only two genders.

The feminist professor booted him from class and asked him not to come back. She referred him to the public university’s Academic Integrity Board (AIB). Ingle needs to complete the class to graduate at the end of the semester.

“My professor is violating my First Amendment rights because of the fact that my views and ideology is different from hers,” Ingle said. “So she took it on herself to silence and embarrass me – bully me – for speaking up in class.”

Downie’s wrote up a list of why she'd referred Ingle to the Academic Integrity Board.

Here’s the list, according to the referral letter Downie submitted to the Academic Integrity Board — as reported by Fox News:

Alleged violation Description

Disrespectful objection to the professor’s class discussion structure; refusal to stop talking out of turn; angry outbursts in response to being required to listen tot a trans speaker discuss the reality of white male privilege and sexism; disrespectful references to the validity of trans identity and experience; disrespectful claim that a low score on any class work would be evidence of professor’s personal prejudice.

“…the reality of white male privilege.” What reality? Name me one right a man has that a women doesn’t. I have yet to hear a substantive answer from an actual modern feminist.

The letter also came with a condition that Ingle read a written apology to Downie in front of the whole class, to be followed by a public shaming from Downie and other students on how Downie's comments had made them feel.

"I did not object to the views of the speaker (Paula Stone). Rather, I objected to its misuse as hard evidence to support the ‘reality’ of phenomena that are not only a matter of opinion, but also empirically unsupported (wage gap statistics). It is my belief that the instructor’s decision to file these sanctions is an attempt to bully me into redacting my views, making it a matter of free speech,” Ingle wrote in his Facebook post in response to the request, which he provided to the Daily Caller.

“It is my firmest belief that every human being has the freedom and right to identify, dress, and represent oneself as they see fit,” Ingle told Fox News. “I think this is all an attempt to silence my views personally because they contradict the ones she pushes in class so evidently.”

Just in case you were wondering about Downie's credentials, here's a summary from her university bio:

Alison Downie earned her PhD in Systematic Theology at Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) with a concentration in Christian Feminist Theology. Her academic interests include ecofeminist theologies, disability theologies, religious understandings of self and memoir, religious themes in literature and film, and interfaith dialogues. She is also active in the scholarship of teaching and learning.

The fact that Ingle might not graduate because he holds an opposing view to a wrongfully-outraged professor is downright criminal. This just proves that some of the biggest bullies in the U.S. are modern feminists. They either want everything exactly the way they want it or you’re a sexist, racist, homophobic transphobe.

The assault on the First Amendment by the university “intelligentsia” continues, and it doesn’t appear to be ending any time soon.
