It looks like the Mexican drug cartels are going to have to work overtime to cover for the millions of dollars worth of cocaine seized by the U.S. Coast Guard this week.

It’s reported that the Coast Guard seized one ton of cocaine off the Southern coast of the Dominican Republic worth an estimated $23 million.

That’s a lot of booger sugar.

WXIA 11 reported that three smugglers have been taken into custody after being caught by the Coast Guard attempting to transport 30 bales of cocaine. There is no word where the traffickers were taking the cocaine, but the Coast Guard seized the cocaine and offloaded the product in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Monday.
