CNN's Jim Acosta Blasts White House For Letting 'Conservatives' Ask Questions

CNN's senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta is absolutely beside himself that the White House now allows conservatives to ask questions during official press briefings – so much so, in fact, that Acosta is stunned that such a dreadful thing could happen in a free country.

Where people with alternate political beliefs can, you know, question the government.

Here’s Acosta’s woeful lament, tweeted Tuesday:

Of course, this doe-eyed incredulousness at Trump’s disdain for the media might invoke a little more sympathy, if Acosta’s own cohorts over at CNN hadn’t been caught the same day openly admitting they regularly launch anti-Trump smear campaigns based on unproven Russia conspiracy theories that they know are “mostly bullshit.”

You know, “for ratings.”

It’d also be just a little more believable if the media weren’t devoting exponentially more on-air time to shamelessly lying about covering Trump than reporting on literally any other topic in the world.

Now, it’s of course possible that in his 140-character-limit tirade in defense of the free press, Acosta meant to tweet “only conservatives” – which would be a still-untrue, but slightly more reasonable, statement to make.

But I’m pretty sure I know a Freudian slip when I see one.
