Having conveniently ignored the violent left's recent history of burning down cities to get what they want, CNN’s Don Lemon redundantly said leftists are “gonna have to blow up the entire system” to keep President Donald Trump from winning a second term and appointing a SCOTUS justice to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s now-vacant seat on the bench.
CNN Commentator Don Lemon apparently does not understand how the Constitution or Constitutional Amendments work. Says, "If Joe Biden wins, Democrats can stack the courts and they can do that [pass Constitutional Amendment to abolish the Electoral College]"pic.twitter.com/p43NDb0PO9— Harry Khachatrian (@Harry1T6) September 22, 2020
“We’re gonna have to blow up the entire system,” Lemon suggested to fellow CNN host Chris Cuomo – who, for once, seemed to have at least a bit of his act together.
“I don’t know about that. You just gotta vote,” Cuomo answered.
“Yeah we are,’ Lemon barreled on. “And honestly, from what your closing argument is? You’re gonna have to get rid of the Electoral College.”
“I don’t see it,” Cuomo responded.
“Because the people – the minorities in this country, they decide who the judges are and they decide who the president is,” Lemon continued, suddenly unconcerned about the voice of “minority” populations.
“Well you need a constitutional amendment to do that,” Cuomo reminded him as Lemon shrugged.
“If Joe Biden wins, then Democrats can stack the courts, and they can do that amendment,” Lemon suggested, clearly not understanding how the U.S. Constitution works.
“Well you need two-thirds vote in Congress and three-quarters of the state legislature,” Cuomo answered, baffled.
“They may be able to do that,” Lemon answered, hilariously assuming that Democrats will also control 66 percent of the entire Congress and all state governorships.
